Scale her Glow

Grace Showell, 22 years-old and hating the ageing process. I study Education at Wolverhampton University and I live the somewhat life o' Reiley at home, with my parents and pet rabbits. My Flickr page pretty much speaks for me, although I do try to submit one or two journal entries, once in a while.

Ouch... shit.

I put my back out at work yesterday. I'm bloody pissed off. Paramedics came and took me to glorious (LOL) Stafford hospital where me and mom waited a good four hours to be told that I've fucked-up a left muscle in my lower back.

Ritchie and I booked a holiday just two days before. We leave for Malta on Tuesday. I'm full with mixed emotions about it all at the minute. I'm bored to death at home sitting, then standing, then going to the toilet and sitting down again, but I know this is the necessary rest I desperately need in order to be fit to do the things people do on holiday and, by Jove, we need this holiday.

The deal was cheap anyway, and the hotel/apartment seems nice so hopefully I'll be back feeling rejuvinated and ready to hit the gym once again.

On the upside, my Facebook iLike score has been booted up to a nice 7 875 and my Mailbox is all tidied up. I'd love to get cracking with some Wii Golf if I could just bend down to turn the bastard on. Bugger it all.

Flickr has been updated once more with photos taken from the NEC Antiques Fair we went to last week. Full of silly old snobs, but so much fun.

I'll be back next Tuesday, ciao for now.

Sozzard

I feel quite bad about not writing a journal entry for a while. I don't write a paper one anymore either since new year so the last couple of months will probably be very much easily forgotten soon. I have a terrible memory. Full stop.

Anyway, in short, I've been to Plymouth to look at the university with Ritchie and for some time away. It was a nice place but the weather was poo poo. He'll be off to study there soon, I think it's just beginning to sink-in, actually.
We went to Milton Keynes for the annual Yamaha Expo, it was good, but not as brilliant as the last one I went to. We stayed at the Hilton though, a first for me as I don't usually like to fork out silly money for a place to wash, watch telly and sleep. It was all paid-for, so no complaints really.

Photographs are on the Flickr anyway.

The person (idiot) who originally bought the Tag Watch sent it back, so i re-listed it on EBay and this morning it fetched a whopping £800. I'm chuffed. I can now afford fuel to get to work!
Speaking of, Sainsbury's Cannock are desperate for staff at the moment, so if you're looking for a cushy part-time arrangement then come have a look. I've been doing up to thirty eight hours recently, roll on payday.

Oh, I passed my first year of university with hovering colours - three B's and a C. I'm pleased about that, too, as the first semester was a bit skew-wiff. I look forward to going back in September, missed Jade and Lindsay, and some other folk.

Anyway, I hope to re-update this again very soon. I have more free time this week so, apart from Wii Golf and More Brain Training, I'm pretty much available!

Somebody, ask me out.

Favourite song, this week...
