Ready to Deliver
It's been around nine months, much like a human pregnancy, and I'm now ready to start to make my blog public. The reason I have opted to keep the past year-or-so from you people is that things have been rather more than complicated, and it wouldn't be fair to dump on you with all this new and confusing information in the very first post of my new blog. Over the past year I have:
- Fought with the best of friends I once had
- Questioned the love I have for my dear boyfriend
- Struggled to cope with the death of a loved-one (and I still do)
- Discovered that my mother is very, very ill
These are the negatives. On the upside, I have:
- Started Uniersity and ebjoyed a whole first semester
- Moved out (somewhat) from the family home
- Fell even more in love than I thought I ever could
- Found some of the greatest friends I'll ever need
In short, I'm feeling pretty good about myself at the moment and I hope to keep it this way for a little while.
The past couple of months have been cool. I went to see Matt Berry, a respected actor whom I really love, I received a new Daisy Rock guitar for my birthday from Ritchie, I treated myself to a new camera (photostream(?) soon to come) and tonight he and I are off to see Russell Brand at the Alexander theater in Birmingham.
I have an appointment with my 'personal' tutor in an hour or so, I'm not nervous although I think I should be. I have just about scraped the passmark for this first semester. Plenty of room for improvement, eh?
I hope this deems an adequate first entry. I just read it through for the fourth time and I think it reads quite nicely.
